The Connector’s Map

This page is a part of the Story Journey Map Series. Start here!

If you have decided to pick up “The Wanderer’s Map” from the travel map stand, here’s what I hope you can carry with you!

Carry this map with you
whenever you are ready
to roam free
in the direction
of new connections
and space to simply be.
Who knows what you might discover?
Who knows who you might meet?
Who knows what conversations
might remind you:
you are loved
and you are seen?

Dare to keep your heart open.
Allow yourself to be surprised by Hope.
Build a friendship with Courage
and let it join as you make
new connections on the road.

Journaling prompts For The Connector’s Map:

  • Think about what was most important to you a year ago. What’s different now? What’s the same?

  • What do you value in friendships today that you didn’t really think about 5 years ago?

  • Do you feel like a leader? Why or why not? Journal your thoughts.

  • What does ‘belonging’ and ‘acceptance’ look like in your life right now? Or what do you want it to look like?

  • What are some small ways you share the things that bring you a sense of calm with others?

  • Where have you found love and connection this week?

More art and poetry to come! There is a lot more associated with each “map,” and I will continue to update. Thank you for your patience, and thank you for being a part of this! - MHN
