You are still alive, and your presence matters here.

Peace is freedom from disturbance. It does not mean that the disturbance goes away=. It means that despite the disturbance, you can still know peace. You can still breathe deep. You can choose to believe: “I will be okay, even within this uncertainty.” Everything may not come together perfectly, in the way you hoped it would, but this present moment can still be good. You can still look where the Light pours in. You can still hear the music. You can still taste bittersweet fruit that reminds you: “I am still alive. My presence matters here. I am living. I am breathing. And I am choosing to believe that even here, that means something.” This is peace. And you are free to have peace, right here in your uncertainty.

It is okay if it takes time to get into a rhythm of things

Whether you are physically far from home, or you just feel far away from where you want to be, I hope you know it is okay if it takes time to get into a rhythm of things. You may see others finding their place before you, but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be a place for you at all. That doesn’t mean there will not be an opportunity for you come forth in the way you were meant to.

This world can be a lonely place. Even in crowded cities. Even when you’re living “the dream.” Even when you have so many things to be grateful for, you can still wonder, “but is it enough?”

You may wrestle with this question from time to time, but I hope it never stops you from living. I hope it never stops you from realizing: no matter how long you have wandered these streets, you are not lost out here. You have been found in glorious Light, where you are growing in the way you were meant to, and where there is endless, boundless grace to take time to find a new rhythm.

Sincerely,
