Whenever you think of your past, may you do so with compassion. May you do so with grace and with truth that you are more than what happened to you. Because for you, so many of the things that have happened have been so far beyond your control. But even there, in the unsettled wild of it all, there is still freedom for you to let go. And this does not mean what happened is okay, and this is not to make any light of what has affected you in, painful life-altering ways. What letting go does is point to the beautiful reality that you are worthy of new life, new hope, new peace.
